Wigs for hair loss specific to cancer treatments

About 40% of clients come to us due to chemotherapy treatments that can result in hair loss. Although hair often grows back after these treatments, new hair growth can be thinner and even a different colour or texture than original hair. We offer hair cuts & styles to help our clients through these changes.

Radiation therapies can damage the ability for cells to grow and reproduce, sometimes resulting in alopecia. We have the understanding, experience and expertise to guide you through this process. We encourage anyone looking to undergo treatment to come and visit us first.

We suggest a consultation to match a wig or hairpiece to existing hair, and keep it aside until it is needed. This provides great peace of mind, and a friendly supportive environment.

Customised hairpieces & wigs

Not only do we have a wide range of beautiful Ellen Wille wigs, we also provide a customised wig service. Clients with permanent hair loss are often wanting a more individual colour or style.

Our human hair specialist, Anna, has a number of clients who have custom-made hairpieces or wigs. These are made for each specific client - measurements, thickness of the cap, colour and type of hair are all decided with Anna's guidance and the order is sent to an overseas manufacturer. The timing has been affected by the recent Covid-19 situation although results are worth waiting for.

We encourage regular visits, once yearly at minimum, to ensure your wig or hair piece is in optimum condition, and to provide any hair trimming service or advice and support as needed.
